The funding will be used to accelerate the R&D and commercialization of high-performance dedicated brain PET systems, small animal PET platforms, and key molecular imaging technologies.

Founded by a team originating from the molecular imaging and nuclear medicine research group of Sun Yat-sen University, Bay Imaging Technology focuses on developing advanced brain PET systems and related imaging technologies. The company has established an integrated R&D platform covering PET detectors, core electronics, system integration, image reconstruction, and AI algorithms, aiming to provide high-performance molecular imaging solutions for neuroscience research and precision medicine.
